Password?!?

Sometimes I'll download something from Bit torrent and I have to open it with WinRar, only to be asked for a password?!? Where would I get these passwords? Why post something on Suprnova which requires a password to unzip?

Sometimes the password it the URL in the Title, sometimes it says a URL in the title (of the .rar file) and you must go there, register, and find the password on that site urself.

yea those things suck but here is something you can use if you feel like it http://www.rarpasswordcracker.com/ it's shareware but their are ways around that if you search

rebirth is right, it usually is the URL which is included in the filename or an NFO. Try all combinations of it.

Thanks you all, it was in fact the URL. Tho it escapes me why someone would go to the lenght of putting a password if it's so easy to crack.

WinRAR is commonly used on the net, but WinRAR is not known to be the best in security & I don't think they are trying to be in encryption business!
