I use Azureus, and for the longest time it's been working very well. I was geting the "green simleys" and my downloads where going fast.

Well that all ended. This is what happened.

I reinstalled windows and reformated my hardrives. I reinstalled Azureus, but now i'm geting only yellow simlys, indicating a "NAT error". I had corrected this problem befour by haveing to change some setting on my router. I whent it thinking that mabey they had been changed, but they where all set properly.

Now i've tryed eveything i could find to fix this NAT error, disableing certin pulgins, port forwarding, changeing the lissoning port, disableing windows firewall, disableing all my firewalls and AV softwear i installed SP2 and also the connection limit fix. just about eveything, but nothing works.

THe thing that is really geting me is that the computer downstairs, on the same router is working perfectly, my brother get the green smilys.

I don't like to ask for help like this when there are tons of FAQ's and other files, but i've honestly tryed eveything i can find, and nothing seems to work. I just keep geting the NAT error and I thought mabye some one here would be able to help my given the situation ni a way a help file could not.

Thanks to any one who can help.

oh, if it matters the programs i have running are Zone Alarm, KAspersky AV personal. But i've tryed disableing them both and trying it again but still NAT errors. As it stands i've disabled ZA firewall and made sure Windows firewall is off as well.

Please don't crosspost, it fucks up the front page and makes a really bad first impression.

The setting on your router that you have to change is your port forwarding settings.

I know you've tried that, but maybe you didn't set it to your local IP address... make sure you've done this:

On the Azureus configuration page, look at the Server option and see what port Azureus is set to use (maybe you changed it after reformatting?).

On your router configuration page, look for Port Forwarding or something similar.

Set the Azureus port to your local IP address (usually starts with 192.168...), and make sure it's on TCP (Azureus doesn't use UDP yet). Save the settings on the router (usually you'll have to restart the router altogether), and restart Azureus. This was happening to me and that's how I fixed it...

Look for help on the official site http://azureus.sourceforge.net

Hope that helps...

black_magiic,

It is not "I don't why", but "I don't know why". BTW, could you write three or more sentences in another language different from english?

Also yellow fave doesnt necessarily mean you have a NAT error. Check the configuration wizard to check if you have a NAT error for sure
