AquaLime - choosable skins

I don't like to think of AquaLime as a 'hack' but who cares? This is the place for it.

Just to let everyone know, I'm working on a version of AquaLime that lets users select skins. This will be good for those who said AquaLime was 'seizure inducing' LOL

I'll post again when I'm done with it, or have made some progress.

As a follow up to the overwhelming response to my first post, I give you this
Took me long enough, but 242 is out, and available at the usual place. As promised, you can select skins. Choose which one you want in the options menu, and it will be applied the next time you start AquaLime.

243 is now out. It's main reason for existing is that it fixes the corrupted downloads problem. All who have tested it for me have confirmed that they have received no corrupted download messages with this version.

Little tip: for those that want to use AquaLime with the original LimeWire look, delete or rename the themes folder.

how do i get the jabber to work? i downloaded the program, and that works fine, but i want the jabber/chat in the program. can you tell me how to get it?

does anyone else want him to change the look. ??? i think that it should connect to different servers also instead of just gnutella. maybe g2 or an open nap server

it is written in java and based off limewire so there is a few limitations to the GUI. A program you may like is SWAPPER. it is a great program but you need .net CLR to run it but it is good :) oh yeh on jabber you can try exodus or some other program before using aqualime for jabber. www.jabber.org . if you don't mind my asking: what would you like changed about the look? Skins don't have to be used. Or is it the layout you don't like?

I have made a version that looks just like a regular windows app, maybe I could make that an option. Nothing like flat and grey :D

well, it would be really cool, if there was a skin that looked exactly like napsters layout. I really liked napster, it was really simple to use. If you could do that it would be awesome. I would support you 100%. Thanks for listening to my idea. ttyl
