hi
im looking for advice on what is the best way to QUICKLY download movies and mp3's on my 1mb broadband...if possible!
I already use torrent and kazaa lite but have found it to be a little unreliable and slow...
any ideas on the best way to download movies and mp3?
aint too bothered about security etc at the mo so whatever method is quickest is good for me...

i recently tried ares www.aresgalaxy.com and the speed are great and there seems to be a lot of content on there

Try signing up to torrentbits.org Speeds are great. They do have a memebership limit though, keep trying, eventually you will get in, no better site for new releases and quick download speeds

how about using newsgroups, you can get tons of movies quickly.
You can use piolet or soulseek or gnutella for mp3s *also newsgroups too*

http://torrentbits.org as domethius said.
http://dvdr-core.org movies only, same format as torrentbits.
Big torrent sites arent that great because people dont seed that much ---> thus slow speeds.

Slow is relative. Perhaps its slow because your line can download faster but perhaps is fast for P2P.

i downloaded ares but the damn thing wont connect, tried tunring off all firewalls etc,
any ideas where i can get the conncheck.reg file for it? dosent seem to be available on aresgalaxy.org (when the site lets me acess it).

my advice is: moviez in emule, music in slsk. only two programs do you need in todays p2p world.
