You are correct. Sonic CinePlayer is my fav DVD player, but you are looking for authoring software.

- Sonic DVDit! PE
- Ulead DVD Workshop

Try one of those.

DVDIT, this is the best software I have come across, allows you to create DVD's from any format, allows you to place menus, backgrounds anything you want. With this software you can make professional DVD's at home. Check it out http://www.sonic.com/products/dvdit/default.asp . It is exspensive but with a little knowhow that problem can be circumvented (suprnova).
