Hey guys and gals:

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, forgive me if it isn't. I've been visiting this site off and on for about a year and became a member just a few months ago, but I've never posted so here it is. Hopefully I will become a more frequent community member in the weeks ahead. This place is great and I've enjoyed reading the discussions put about by regular members. And because of recent success with a certain file, I would also like to add that Canopus ProCoder is excellent for XviD-AVi to DVD conversions (after three days of frustration, this made the rest of my year).

Okay, have an awesome day everyone. :upside

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone.

I actually did try VirtualDubMod before I used ProCoder; there was some sort of error with the sound. I extracted the audio as a .wav and tried to implement it in TMPG as a separate file, with no success. Albeit, I do still use VDM for splitting, editing, etc. It's a great program, but ProCoder practically worked a miracle.
