WD hard drive issue

hey guys

I hope someone here can help me.

Here is my problem

I have a WD hard drive, and no problems with it till now. I had my computer off for two days and when I turned it on, I heard clicking sounds. Windows loaded with no problem and so I went to registry clean up, virus scan, and even spyware scan. Nothing, I went to Norton Disk doctor and it found some errors, but its been decting those erros since I got the hard drive

Now I shut down least 4 times to see if the sound would continue

and nothing happens, just the normal booting of the comp

I seriously dont want to fork over the cash for a new HD, is my HD heading down the road of crashing?

Any help would be appreciated
