I just began my first term of college. I've moved into the dorms on campus and I've been trying to get BT to work. We have a Dell TrueMobile 2300 router in our room and I've tried configuring it to forward the ports and everything. We just can't get it to work. I've tried forwarding port 6969 to 6881 to 6999. That didn't work, so I thought maybe if I tried a higher port. I tried 16881 and 16999. That didn't work either. I'm using BitTornado and when I check out the advanced window, it shows all Ls. My uploads get going up to 20 kb/s but the downloads never get above 6 or 7.

The crazy thing is, I'm connected to a torrent that has a green light, but no R's. It does the same thing speed-wise. Then some torrents are just yellow, with no R's as well.

I know we can get torrents going in the dorms, because my roomate had one going at over 200 kb/s. We haven't been able to get another one to go. They are very popular and new torrents. Also, a friend down the hall has gotten them going fast as well. Any ideas?
