How to burn a PC game?

Hi
I'm new to all this so I have no idea what to do. I downloaded the edit from suprnova.org and I have no idea how to burn it in order to install it. It's 2.85GB so I would have to burn it onto 4 cds. It's full of
.cue
.sub
.img
.ccd
files. I don't know how to burn these as some are 764,892 KB in size which would not fit on 1 cd. Do I group certain files together while burning? Thank you for your help in advance!

All you need is Nero Burning Rom. Get Nero and choose burn image to disk.

Also people are kinda touchy about mentioning file names so you might consider editing your post.

were not touchy about filenames its just that you are basically openly admitting to pirating a game which can result in legal consequences. As far as burning goes they will fit onto a cd all you need is something like alcohol 120% or Nero as mentioned above to burn the images. Or you can use alcohol 120 for drive emulation and install the game from the image

Yep x<800 MB where x=filesize will fit on a cd no problem (sorry im doing calculus homework as Im writing this - the x stuff)

As the others said, Alcohol 120% or Nero Burning ROM to make hard copies. If you dont want to have to burn anything, look into Daemon Tools.

You might also just want to remove the title, just to be safe.

I have tried looking everywhere to figure this out for Playstation 2. Please help, I am new to this as well. I tried what has been suggested here but when I put the game in PS2 it says need a PS2 format disc. I used Nero Burning Rom>CD>Burn Image>.cue file. But PS 2 does not recognize it.

The media I am using is Memorex CD-R 700mb, 80mins, 48Xmulti speed. The file is smaller that 700mb. Bit-torrents is the source. I have tried making 2 copies but have not been successful. Using Nero 6SE.

Trinii this is a long shot but do you have a mod chip or bootdisc. Im asking because if you dont it will not boot. The reason for this is because cd's do not have the boot sector burnt in them only expensive pressing machines can do that. So you need a modchip or bootdisc. If you do have a modchip you may have the wrong one exp a psone mod chip will allow you to play psone games on your ps2 but not ps2 games. Anyway a gameshark that comes witha mem card will do the trick or action replay whichever one. Or you can just get yourself a plug in mod or a saulder one if your comfortable opening it up and sauldering like 7 points. hope that helps

Mountain_Rage- what are you doing up so late, good to see I'm not the only "loco". Hey thanks a million for the info. I can end my search, or better yet, narrow my focus. I have neither one of those things you mentioned. But now I know what to look for. It sounds like the bootdisc will be the easier solution, is that downloadable? I won't be comfortable sauldering anything. As a matter of fact I tried sauldering some copper tubing under my sink and as soon as I turned the water on it started to leak. I had to scrap the idea and use a pressure fitting instead.

No you cant download a bootdisc as a bootdisc is basically a disc with the bootsector built in you have to buy it. The only systems to my knowlege that you can burn games without a mod are dreamcast and computer other then that you need something to bypass the bootsector.

Did it came with a NFO file? If it has a NFO file, open it with Notepad then read the instructions. Otherwise, we'll need more information to understand your problem(s)!

Decided to post here instead of creating a new thread.

My PS1 game, Chrono Cross, has been scratched so badly, I can't get past the opening scene. So I decided to download it. I've got as far as putting the actual game on the CD but the PS1 isn't reading it. I've put it on a CD-RW, if this makes a difference. I'm stumped at this current moment and am in desperate need of some help.

@Junkyarddog - Yes, you can burn game on DVDs if the image file it's a DVD image file! If there is a NFO, open that file with Notepad to read the instructions.

Im going to take a differnt spin on this, maybe these people are videogame worshippers and want to make a prayer to a videogame god. On this assumption il say you need a accelerator such as gassoline, matches or a lighter and some wood. Once you have a hearty fire going just throw in your discs.

there prolly are instructions in your download telling you how to get it to work. commonly, there will be an extra folder from the release group with a no-cd hack or somthing. sometimes that folder may be on the CD itself. look around
