Edit your post and remove your email so spammers dont get it and fill your box with crap.
I believe your problem is with the new pop up blocker in Sp2
Hold "ctrl" when you click on a link it will open the window as it should.
go into your IE options and you can set an allow list for the sites you want to let pop ups
through or you can turn it off together. :gj
Hope this helps, welcome to zeropaid

lol THis is indeed Paradiso my friend, the most beautiful place in the world IMO
If you trust yourself and your surfing habits and dont get infected lots from viruses
a system restore or a clean install w\ Sp1 wouldnt harm you.
I know plenty of ppl who still have sp1 and dont intend to upgrade anytime soon

bah, all you need is linux and firefox - and you're set for life... well, after you figure out how to use it, that is :P
but, seriously, ferrarimodena360, you're right - popup blockers are nice. trust me, after you use it for a while, you'll never want to be without one

Right on. That solves a lot of security issues... but leaves one problem.
Linux is great to do base computing and it's even interesting figuring it all out and getting it to run. However:
NO FUN. Hehe, unless you plan on fragging newbz in "Star Office Team Arena".
Firefox on XP sans SP2 serves one well.

Just disable plugin, scripts, and java and that should solve many virus, worms, adware, spyware, popup, and other problem that could happen to your computer.
I tried Turbolinux and it ok but Windows is much better then Linux including XP.
