New to WINMX 3.3

HELP HELP

I am having probs I think D/L I am a primary connection and have been trying to download an .avi file for 3 days everytime I move up a que I am kicked off just when I think it is going to start a download or when a download has started for a min or so. Is this a problem at my end ? Also everytime someone is trying to get my files that are available they get timed out. Any suggestions?

Do you have a firewall or router? You may need to open the appropriate TCP/UDP ports to allow incoming and outgoing connections.

well my friend welcome to winmx ways...i have been downloading a 2 avi since 1 1/2 month still not over cause most people jus wanna trade avi's & rest dont wanna share...i think winmx is excellent for music but avi. etc though it has a huge database its not meant for sharing...:shy
