For some reason, WinMX seems to uninstall itself. I'm not sure when or why it happens, but I had to restart my computer and when I clicked it to bring it up, it had the 'Do you agree to these terms?' ect.. This is the second time and I was wondering if anybody has had similiar problems or if anyone knows why this would be happening. Appreciate the help.

Why would it say "Do you agree to these terms?" if it was ininstalling? Usually you get that message when something is being installed.

I've used WinMX for a long time and never had any problem with it (except some annoying long ass queue lines and the occasional beggin no-share punk).

I suspect that it is not finding your configuration files.

Probably either you chose to run it in place, rather than save the winmx file, when you downloaded it and it is running out of the browser cache or your shortcut WORKING directory is not properly pointing to the directory your winmx config files are in.
I would move the winmx file to its own directory, if you haven't already, create new shortcuts for the app and make sure that the config .dat files, such as settings.dat and library.dat, are showing up in that directory.

I didn't mean that it uninstalls when I double-click it. I meant that it installs when I double click it. It seems to uninstall the program even if the computer isn't on. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

You may try this: Sometimes when a program is installed it could get a bug in the folder its installed in. You may try deleting the folder that winmx was installed to, download a new copy of winmx and then try again. if the problem persists, try installing it to a different folder.

Hmm...if WinMX does it again, I'll think I'll go ahead and just delete it off the computer than completely reinstall it again. Hopefully that will do it. Thanks for the help guys.
