I had downloaded a movie from suprnova.org and its in BIN file and it doesn't play in real player even after renaming it to .AVI. Can any one tell me how to play it?

If it's a .bin file, you need a .cue file to go with it. the .cue file is tiny tho & won't take but a second to download. (If you know what you're doing, you can make your own .cue file.)
If you don't want to burn the .cue/.bin combo to a disc, use VCDGear or a similar programme to convert the .bin/.cue to a .mpg file which will play on your PC.
I think you can extract the .bin with some of the iso tools also.
Check out www.videohelp.com for excellent info on this subject. It's a nice site.

Don't rename it. Use VLC player http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Mount it with Nero - it's a VCD file, not avi.

i think this has been addressed several times in the forum, you can make a virtual drive to mount the bin and cue on (with a prog like daemon or alcohol) and if you dont have a cue for the file you can create your own with a few progs out there ask google, or try using the search function on the forum before asking your question sometimes it's already asked and answered.
