Help a newbie with Napster

I fully admit I don't know much about computers so I would love some help from you guys. I downloaded Morpheus and now I can't get online at all. As soon as i turn on my computer it opens up the phone line so there is no dial tone. With out the dial tone I can't dial up. I tried uninstalling morpheus but no luck. Can anyone help me at all. Please, I don't even have to keep Morpheus, I just want to get online again

don't know exactly what is your problem, maybe is some configuration error, but uninstall morpheus, now install and run Ad-Aware (http://www.jamcomputerservices.com/lavasoft/aaw.exe)

Then install KaZaAlite (http://www.kazaalite.com/nuked/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=getit&lid=17) or if you want to use the guntella network, dont use morpheus, try XoloX (http://members.lycos.co.uk/zplazm/xolox1.18.2.50.tgz) or other guntella client

First and foremost: How are you posting this if you cannot get online?

sounds like some wierd program ended up in start up registry. You might need run msconfig and uncheck it in the startup group.

Thanks everyone I'll try both of those and see what happens. Right now I'm using the computer at work, but I'll cross my fingers that my computer will be fixed
