There may be a few people on this forum who are just starting to use the donkey and wondering how to get hold of all the best files (and believe me, ALL the best files are on the donkey!!).
Once you've installed the donkey and updated your server list (try here (http://bse.doesntexist.org/) to get an up-to-the-minute list) there are websites that provide hyperlinks to files.
Rather than open up a new browser window, these links open eDonkey and start downloading the file you've just clicked on. This is probably the most effective use of eDonkey.
The sites you really need are :-
FileNexus (http://www.filenexus.com)
and
ShareReactor (http://www.sharereactor.com)
I'd be lost without these sites - they almost replace the Search function within eDonkey. If the main sites don't deliver what you want, then I urge you to try their forums where people announce their latest releases and you can request stuff, which usually turns up a result.
You'll find that eDonkey has a community spirit unlike any other P2P network (not mentioning any DC's :ass ) and people are genuinely willing to help.
All I ask is that you keep your downloaded files shared for at least a few days after you've finished downloading them - it's surely a tiny price to pay for getting the best files any network has to offer.
You'll wonder why you ever bothered with KaZaa/Morpheus !!! :angel
