your files should transfer over but don't quote me on that to be on the safe side copy/paste your files in a folder of your choice delete the old kazaa and if you don't see them in your kazaa lite shared folder then maybe they don't transfer over but atleast youve made a backup folder to fall back on

Im pretty sure your files will transfer over. Im pretty sure Kazaa doesnt delete its downloaded folder when you uninstall it.

Yes you can, but just to make sure put the files you have in a new folder, then delete kazaa install kazaa lite and put the files into the new shared folder.

I`m 99.9% that even if you don`t do this, when you install kazaa lite, you will have TWO shared folders.

I've uninstalled plenty of file-sharing programs and the files that I have downloaded using them are still there. I have one folder called "shared files" and I designate it as the download folder and the shared folder for all my file sharing programs. I delete all the folders that the programs set up for themselves. It's easier that way. I also keep a limited number of files in this folder, as the RIAA looks for sharers with a "significant" number of files. So, I keep them limited, but I change them frequently and move the older files to other folders that are not shared.
