I recommend you try AVG Anti-Virus FREE Edition, it's low on resources and it works pretty good. http://free.grisoft.com

You can get free anti-virus software from your local p2p client. :)

AVG is good, especially when backed up with http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/

Also as a note, I have had problems getting Panda to run with Firefox, and have to use Internet Exploder.

which will sometimes come with its own virus already included! Use BT

Nod32 (Latest Beta 2.011) is currently using 6.5mb of RAM. That's with active ("resident") scanning, Internet scanning (http, pop3, imap), and MS Office Integration all enabled.
