Does Ares Lite have Adware/Spyware?

No, nor does regular Ares. Ares lite is for lower end PCs, or folks who dislike a few bells and whistles.

Both Ares and Ares Lite contain spyware withen the installer, but you can easily opt out of it during installation. Hope that helps and welcome to the Ares community!

Yes, Ares has an opt out option. Some people don't read when installing programs and thats their own fault. Ares is a good program and their up front about the adware option.

so far so good for me. i drop kazaalite a few months ago for ares and its better and better by the days. altho its been a while since they update.

They put new builds out every few days or so. You can get them from their official forums.

NavHelper - the adware - can be removed from add/remove programs if it is accidently installed.
