A reminder that the tickets for Moods & Grooves Event next Saturday 28th are now available from Misfits. Tickets are limited to 300 so do your best since Mike Grant, guest on the night, is always highly requested and
tickets are sold on first come first served basis.
The line-up for the event will be as follows:
Roderick 22:00hrs till 00:00hrs
Mike Grant 00:00hrs till 03:00hrs
Owen Jay 03:00 till 04:00
For all those of you who might not know as a House DJ and producer Mike Grant owns Detroit-based labels Moods & Grooves, End To End, and Afrosyntrix. He began DJing in the 80s and slots into Detroit's techno
hall of fame. He first gained recognition alongside school-friend Blake Baxter as a member of the Beat Sound Company, launching a string of club gigs and residencies around the city. Having been also featured on local radio, in 1985 Mike joined "Street Beat" Detroit's first mix broadcast, playing alongside artists such as Juan Atkins, Eddie Fowlkes and Derrick May.
