Does anyone know of any developments or any news of this project? http://www.emule-help.com/openmx.htm Its become obvious that frontcode only made minor updates to try and hold on to their domain name which is up in October. If Winmx would go opensource the program could finally start actually being worked on and perhaps improved upon instead of the bullshit Frontcode has handed us. Kevin Hearn, if you really love your creation, set it free. It seems you need help programing. You can't be making that much money off those pop up ads so let others help out and move Winmx back to the future.

Where did you get this nonsense? To keep the domain they just have to pay for it. It was renewed on the 1st of august and is registered until 08-oct-2005.

Well I had not heard that. The last thing I heard was some one else had put in a back order for the domain name. I did not know Frontcode had renewed it. It was also said that some one was going to release OpenMX, the source code to winmx if frontcode did not update the site. I got this nonsense from reading alot.

Just right after the announcement of the OpenMX project, WinMX released the latest update. Kevin Hearn moved on the latest update because he didn't want to lose control of the program to someone else.
