I've been playing with the idea that i've found everything I could think of that would interest me on the net, and reguardless of all the free games and movies and music, i feel the need for MORE...

I just wanted to share some interesting things, in the hope of other people sharing their interesting things, so i'll have several new interests to pursue. I know everyone has different interests, but how can you become interested in something when you've never experienced it.

* The Corporation - a 3 hour documentary, on corporations,... what the word corporation means, and how they effect the world. It wasn't made by Michael Moore, but he's still in it.
The Corporation (http://66.90.75.92/suprnova//torrents/2336/The%20Corporation%5BEng%5D%5BTvRip%5D-avi.torrent)

* Nanotechnology - the technology that will and is already beggining to boldly take mankind where they have never been able to go before. The cure for cancer, unlimited food, energy, resources, and possibilities,.. Including the destruction of all life on this planet.
Nanotechnology videos (http://www.nanoxchange.com/Overview_Vids.asp)

* Triple Definition Television - think HDTV is cool? try TDTV,.... the images will now pop off the screen WITHOUT the need for speacial 3D glasses. Claims to work with ANY existing video footage.
www.ddd.com (http://www.ddd.com/)

* Invisibility Suit - Holy Florkin Shnit Batman, those are real?,... uhh yup.
Ivisibility Suit (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/3791795.stm)

Those are a few things I would think most people could be interested in. Let the sharing of information continue. :tilted

Great links Gir

I find nano tech both exiting and scary, so much potential and yet it represents so many dangers,

Thanks to nano tech, it is conceivable that we can start work on a planet lift that will allow us to escape the earths pull so much more economically. the benefits of building such a thing are enormous.

Instead of making the cloak out of flowing material he should make it like a halo suit, blocky that way it would be more transparent, just look at the cube compared to the cloak. If he could figure out how to make the edges blend in better you would becompleatly naked to the eye.

I'd have a number of uses for it....

I can however imagine some things others would do...

Any money if it was cheap enough per sq-ft you'd see gobs of 'cash croppers' masking their crops in the woods with this shit....peeping toms in beach bathrooms...peeping toms doing the window thang.

And me... well I'd use it to goose girls or toke up in the bushes on lunch break.

If you are referring to movies and books I reccomend you check out the reccomended reading section of a "gurps" rpg book, any one of the themed settings have plenty of related books and movies listed which are usually very interesting.

Another thing I've always found fun is to try out new operating systems. Get a decent emulator and try out linux, longhorn or old versions of windows. It's also useful if you have old games lying around that need dos.

How about trying to collect all the rpg books in a series like "rifts" or "deadlands", they probably need the people sharing them and I think they make for good reading when you're bored.
