About 20 years a friend moved. Before he moved he copied most of his 45's (yes the little black vinyl things with only two songs on them, one on each side) to cassettes. He sent the cassettes to me to see if I could find them on a P2P. I have most of the titles but not the artist. These are old country titles. Is there a site I can go to where I can put in the title or the first line of the song to find out who the artist was so I can DL it? Any suggestions from you would be great. Thanks.

google.com

put in song lyrics in quotes like this "and the sign said long haired freaky people"

and you get web hits related to the song "signs", by either the 5 man electric band, or tesla--then you download one (from the p2p of choice). if it is the right one, go to the next song--if not, get the other one

repeat as desired

Allmusic.com

Type in the song name and select song from the dropdown menu, then browse around.

OR, as notbob suggested, google.com

Type in the following: Lyrics "insert lyrics here inside quotes"
search for that and it should work out, that's how I do it.
