WinMX 3.22 & D-Link 604 router...

Does anyone know how I set my router up for this? I think I have it right but it isn't working at all when I use primary connection. It shows bandwidth being used or whatever for incoming and outgoing but when I search I get nothing (although I haven't sat there and waited for longer than a couple minutes). It works ok on secondary but the download speed always sucks. If anyone has this router and can help me out i'd really appreciate it. I'm on 1.5 cable.

i have a router too, but it is not d-link. But i'll try to help.
Your router has a menu screen- probably at 192.168.0.1. use explorer to get there. there should be a username and password to get in. then, go to the "advanced" screen and click on "ports". you have to enter both your computers local address and the port winmx uses. hit save and exit. this is called forwarding a port. i did this and all my p2p apps work great.
