How does OGGdrop work? I can't figure it out :mellow

First of all, right click and go to encoding parameters. Make sure quality setting is selected, and then chose the quality. 4 is about 128kbps, 5 is 160, 6 is 192, etc. 5 or 6 is probably best. After that, simply hit accept, open the folder you have your WAVs in and drag them into the oggdrop window. You were trying it with WAVs not MP3s, right? Doing MP3 to Ogg is a BIG no-no, because both are lossy codecs. If you try to turn an MP3 into an Ogg, you'll end up with a sound file that sounds worse than the original file. The only way to make Oggs is by encoding them straight from unaltered WAVs.
