I've been trying to downaload this big music file from edonkey but am stuck at 90%. Why is it that there is about 987798879 people who miss the same part of the file? Will it stay on the red forever? Is it possible it is another bogus file from the RIAA? I've noticed this a few times now. So, should I continue uploading like an idiot or forget about it?

Probably all of the people that you are seeing as sources are just like you and stuck at 90%. Like you, they probably saw that there were sources and started downloading until they got to 90% and decided to just leave it running and hope that it finishes. I'm sure that there are a few people that have the completed file that you are looking for but who knows if they will ever get back on ed2k. If I were you, I would just give up and try to find it on Bittorrent or some other network. This is just my opinion so take it for what it's worth.

I got 2 incomplete files using torrents.. but eDonkey is the easiest one to notice incomplete downloads b'coz of the red marks on the progress bar.

you can always try to instal emule or similiar p2p program and convert .met file from eDonkey to other format and then check for avilability.you can always convert them back to eDonkey format is easy! once ive done this and i find out that emule has much more sources for files but is much slower. :santa

thats a big issue with edonkey that may be causing people to shift away from it
