Following the release of their latest single 'Streets' which has received excellent radio play over the past few weeks, Hiddensun will be launching their much anticipated debut album 'Inside' next Wednesday 11th August. The band will be performing some of the new songs live during an exclusive outdoor party at the NSTS Aquacentre Beach Club in Tigne Sliema. The event will commence at 9pm and entrance will be free of charge.
"We're extremely positive about this new album, the result of three years of live performances and nine months of busy recording," states Hiddensun frontman Peter Grech. "However, it was only recently that we've returned to the local circuit to perform at some major venues around the island and the response we've seen from the crowds as simply exhilarating."
Peter Grech described the return as 'a pleasantly surprising comeback!'. "Not only did the fans remember us and support us but we've received enthusiastic comments from various other artists and DJs who have listened to our new album throughout the past weeks and they've just loved it! We just can't wait any longer to perform next Wednesday."
The album, written in the band's now synonymous energetic style, features loud and pumping guitar and drum tracks, up beat samples and driving vocal lines. Recorded at Temple Studios under the watchful eye of David Vella, 'Inside' features 11 original tracks including the renowned hit Misunderstood. It will be officially on sale for the first time next Wednesday at the launch party at a special price. All fans are being encouraged to visit the bands site to get a taste of the new tracks.
Meanwhile the band has lined up a couple of warm up gigs namely an acoustic set in aid of Life Cycle this Sunday 8th August at the Blues Room in Bugibba at 8.00pm and for their Gozitan fans, at the great Gozo Beer Festival at 11.00pm on the same day.
Wednesday's performance at the NSTS Aquacentre Beach Club in Tigne Sliema is being supported by Smirnoff, Cisk Export, Apple IMC Malta, Quicksilver clothing and The Gallery Hair studio.
