I am currently download a rather large file, 714MB and I am almost finished just like 80MB to go, although on the file details it says 18.5MB or like 3% is currupt then next to it , it says recover 2 parts. Does this mean the file won't be able to play?? or what?? I am like totally lost....

Read the help for the filesharing client you are using.
Sounds like emule, if the progress bar is entierly blue with no red then the file will complete if you wait long enough.

on emule, the file is split into 9MB 'parts' for downloading, and sometimes the parts which people upload to you become corrupt, which means your emule will have to redownload the corrupted amount. Sometimes emule can 'recover' these corrupted parts, yours has recovered 2 corrupted parts. It should still complete fine.

You should have Intelligent Corruption Handling tuned on in eMule, and it'll automatically fix/redownload detected corrupted parts. Don't worry, and don't fret.
