How Can I Get the download speed fast? (eDonkey)

I tried many ways to boost up my speed for eDonkey.
But, that didn't work at all.
It's really slow to download even small files.
I changed TCP and set the download limit to 0.
But it didn't work either.
How can i get fast downloading? :mellow

I know I'm fanboying.. but switch to Overnet. Same file, same methods, but for me its much faster. This is, of course, assuming your on something faster than 56k or ISDN.

Yeah - upload a lot, and let your download run for a while. The best thing to do is to just let it run overnight or while you're out - that way, you won't really notice how long it's taking :)

Just confirming it's not like those Kazaa scam sites.
