Any Nero 6 Problems?

What's up guys. Iv'e just got a quick question about the newest version of Nero.(Nero 6 Ultra Edition 6.3.1.17) My friend just recently bought it and he was having some problems with it running on Xp. He said it locked up the computer and was a pain to install. Have any of you experienced the same problems or is he just an idiot? :;)

I have Nero 6 also and I've never had a problem with it. It's probably just his computer. How to fix the problem? I don't know. :-) I'm not that great of a troubleshooter via the internet. I actually need to be in front of the computer.

However, I'm sure other people can give you some great tips. I suppose he can't return it since he opened it (depending where he bought it from.) I know like my Wal*Mart will take back open software because they have no idea it's even been opened. :-)

I've had problems with Nero 6.. especially the video parts. Any time I start anything that involved video, my computer restarted itself. It's only my main computer though. So i just use it on all my others. I dont think theres much you can do, it may be a hardware software incompatibility.

I've been using Nero 6 Ultra Edition 6.3.1.17 with W2k and XP with no problems.It(.17) only came out a month ago though so I haven't done a lot-but the earlier versions of 6 worked OK.
