Hi, someone told me to come here and request this, I have a speed run I would like to download from this (http://bisqwit.iki.fi/jutut/nesvideos/movies.cgi?systemid=1) site, but of course, no one is using it (BitTorrent), so I came here to ask if someone would be nice enough to DL it so I can resume my download of it and I'll let you know when I'm done. The file is the Addams Family one on that page in .AVI format via BitTorrent. If you can help, please let me know, and I'll reply as soon as it's finished. Also, if I'm in the wrong place, tell me where to go. :-)

This is the same as requesting warez. Which isn't allowed here.
Welcome to ZeroPaid, and tell whoever told you to come here and request this to go bugger off (i stole those words from notbob)

Welcome to ZP pred, but as said, requests are not allowed here. Warez sites tend to get shut down or investigated by the suits and legal eagles.

I didn't know video game speed runs were thought of as warez... And I don't know what warez are.

If you go to the website you will see that the 'movie' is of somebody playing a NES game and is not a copyrighted work. Don't why the site isn't just hosting the movies.
I'm trying the torrent now and there appears to be 1 seed...maybe it's a bot on the site or something?
*downloading now* ...so the torrent is *gasp* ALIVE!!!!
The light is Green, so all the data is available.

From Dictionary.com:
warez
/weirz/ A term used by software pirate (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=software%20pirate)s use to describe a
cracked game or application that is made available to the
Internet (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=internet), usually via FTP (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=ftp) or telnet (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=telnet), often the pirate
will make use of a site with lax security.
Software piracy is illegal and should be reported to the
Federation Against Software Theft (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=federation%20against%20software%20theft) (FAST).
That means: anything that the authorities wouldnt like you doing isnt allowed to be requested, asked for, and talked directly about.

I'm a little confused in what he is asking for. Are you asking for the movie of the game?

From the site:
"This timeattack is about Addams Family, but not the Fester's Quest one.
This is really the seventh version, and the first published version.
Note: This movie may not look cool, but the player is not to be blamed. The game is a little bad. You have to avoid objects by afar if you don't want to get hit, and you really have to collect $1M to complete the game.
In my opinion Hans has done very good job perfecting this movie."
Gamers compete to see how quickly and skillfully they can complete a game, and some film their performances as proof.

I don't think that video would be considered warez either.
Speaking of non warez video files, what about that Batman Dead End video thats around. Its kick ass!
