It's on my top ten list...awsome movie. I'm only posting now because I just finished getting a decent DVDR copy....all I had was a crappy cam job and a nuked screener....garbage.

I thought it was pretty damn good. I especially liked the interrogation scene in the car at the salvage yard. Who knew a cigarette lighter was such a multi-tool.

Now did Crease die because of the gunshot wound he got from the kidnappers brother? Or did he die from the bleeding that never stopped through-out the movie? Or did he die when he let the kidnappers have him?

That's the only part that confused me. But yes, excellent movie.

it let you believe that he died for what ever reason you want to believe. I would say he died from bleeding to death or internal bleeding. He died on the way over, they was going to torture his ass.. He should of had a bomb under his shirt or something... A pipe bomb or some thing with nails in it and shoot everywhere.

He died from a combination of both, IMO. Steady internal bleeding post-bodyguard duty coupled with gunshot wounds == dead Denzel.

I liked the movie quite a bit. What really did it for me was the editing, strange as that sounds. Some of the crazy camera angles really accentuated the scenes, as well as the awesome in-scene subtitle work. Amazing!

Strapping a bomb to himself would have resulted in the whole crew of bad cops taking it out on the only 2 people left in Mexico connected to him that they know of... Pita and her mother. Now why would he sacrifice himself for Pita only to get them killed by trying to be a macho dick? lol

I thought the ending was perfect... I would have actually been pissed if they ended it Hollywood style...I hate that kinda crap...so unrealistic.

Dakota Fanning makes most of todays 'stars' such as the few regularly quoted by Sk8erboi....look like crap. She's damn talented....and her an Washington seemed to have great chemistry.

I also enjoyed the movie. It had a really good plot line somewhat typical. But Dezel playing crease fit so well and made the movie so much better!. One of the best in my book along with some other denzel washington movies.
