Is there a way I can normalize mp3s without converting it to a wav file ?Thanx

normalize?
If you mean make it sound better, then just convert it to a higher bitrate, ie 128 to 320 will make it sound a lot better

most normalising apps will need you to conver to wav first. Bummer huh, kinda bugs me to.
But I did find a few that work after you experiment with the settings a bit.
try mp3gain and also mp3trim has a normalising feature.
they are easy to find with a google search and are freeware. Mp3trim has a file size limitation on the freeware version but I got the pro version which I found on edonkey.
