RFID Storage Capacity

Does anyone know what the maximum storage capacity is of present day RFID chips is? Also, what is the theoretical maximum storage capacity of RFID chips?

I have no idea as I've never seen one thankfully. If I ever found out that a store I frequented put a RFID chip in something I bought, without telling me, I'd take whatever it was and go back to the store and tell the manager to shove it up his/her ass. I'd never shop there again.
