With lots of work related to their label Noise Alliance, Duo Blank immerse themselves into mailing of promos, promotion, dealing with international distributors, scheduling new releases, which is more than positive. They are working right now on a remix for Ira Losco while also starting work on future releases on their own and other labels too. Duo Blank are also planning a promotional tour in relation to the release due out on Polaris Records this coming October.

Mauro: Which are your next bookings?
Duo Blank: So far one confirmed booking - Hysteric Maniacs on October 30th.

Mauro: How hectic is changing studios?
Duo Blank: Very hectic, absolutely unwanted during this period since we are definitely in need of time to devote to production and label management.

Mauro: So are you going to amend setups in the process? Perhaps it could turn out to be positive?
Duo Blank: The setup will definitely reflect the current trend of depending more on the computer...It will definitely be positive - some producers deem it mandatory to do this periodically since it seems to leave an impact on productions - it definitely happened to us the last time we did it!!!

Mauro: How fascinating is it to perform both musically and aesthetically?
Duo Blank: One has to find methods in which to make a live PA interesting, we personally don't think it's fair for anyone to pay so as to assist to a live PA consisting of a bloke standing still behind a laptop for an hour or so.

Mauro: What are your new lighting effects onboard the A100?
Duo Blank: Basically it was inspired from the art of modding PC's with neons and flashing led's. It involved replacing all the aluminium blank panels with others made from perspex material plus the installation of a sound to light controller which actually triggers all the blinking and flashing... besides that one gets a glimpse of how an analogue modular synth looks from the inside.
