Para cualquier consulta llamar al 247-8000 Great, send me the cash without me having to do anything. On second thought, I have some property I would like to sell you for 10 million euros... but hey, even Disney bought swampland. Don't you want to own your own piece of the ocean? It is perfect, it is in international waters. In a few million years you can drain it and have a party.

Not worth my time, but as a public service, you can take the above post and try a reverse operation. If you do, the scammer will send you a bogus certified check from some foreign bank and demand you pay some sort of processing fee.

The check you get is always bad, the check you give is always good.

That is how the scam works.

I'd imagine that once you send an e-mail to him, he'd e-mail back asking for your account number so he can make the transfer and other various pieces of personal information, just for verification of course. Then within the next few days he'd empty your bank account, start 10 or so credit cards in your name, and finance a nice car too.

It should say, "You've won a contest to be fleeced for $250,000 euro, please send us your information so that we can steal your money."
