I'm a big TV fan and I like #BT at EFNET on IRC otherwise found at:

http://www.torrents.co.uk - sure you can find their links at SuprNova but they show up the site first.

Same thing for the guys called "Resistance" - http://tvt.milfclan.com

Phoenix-Torrents.com is great (already posted above me), and TorrentReactor.com is real good also.

There's so many sites for BT you couldn't visit them all in one day...

Something like the dead hdtv.yi.org or this:
MOVtorrents (http://appleguru.dyndns.org:6969)

Search for Absinth on whatever torrent sites you frequent...

Appleguru is a moron....and that is not HDTV...not anywhere near it. When you download your first .ts vob stream that's never been touched by anyones retarded 3ivx/mov hands you'll know exactly how good HDTV can look if given the chance...it makes a DVD seem like a VHS.....

I know, after I saw that documentary on China in .ts at 1920x1080 I was amazed.
WMV-HD compressed recordings are also nice (at 8-10 megabit/sec), but can be damn hard to find, just like absinth's releases. There is no Usenet service in my country, so no alt.binaries.hdtv for me :(.

That sucks.... :( But hell yes....HDTV streams are great...the first one I was prevy to viewing was one of the earlier episodes of Carnivale (one of sinth's), and I must say it blew me away as well.

I avoid WMV and MOV as well as Real Media and all the other newly introduced DRM'ed formats whenever possible.

Have you tried any of the pay usenet services? Giganews an others are pretty reliable... I haven't signed up in along time, so I couldn't tell ya binaries they got going.

Give these a try for now...you won't find any binaries other then images worth downloading (or even complete...) on many of these unsecured or public usenet servers.
