This is the most pointless thing ever... perhaps.
What is to stop the RIAA using this software to find out what is being shared?

it is considered spamming to make the same post more than once.

Not to mention this is kind of useless - not everyone is going to adopt this, and they're just going to be useless encrypted files on the networks. And, all the RIAA has to do is get this software - then they can simply download the encrypted file, decrypt it, and still sue you! And, frankly, how is anyone supposed to figure out the encrypted filename, anyway?
I smell a thread closing coming...

what if some1 crack opens the way filenames are being coded??

If the filename encryption they use is the same as per their example, it looks like it's just character substitution. It'd take 30 seconds to work out the code.
Not that it really matters. These ideas come up from time to time, and they're almost always flawed in some obvious way. (though perhaps not obvious to the makers!)

Please knock off the spamming. I've merged the 4 threads. Let's keep it in one thread.

Yes, I take back anything bad I said about mp3master... this is just a stupid thread though. Thread should be deleted, user should be banned. IP ban would be nice too.

Ahh - play nice. This guy may come back and stun us with his brilliance and explain how this can save the p2p world.
Perhaps this can be an excuse for a messy shared folder - "it isn't messy, its encrypted!"

I will ban them if they spam anymore but they've only done one thing wrong. as long as they don't mess up again they can stay.
