I've never used Shareaza myself. But I do use Gnucleus. I had a Shareaza client as one of the Ultrapeers that I was connected to for the first time today(that I've ever noticed). Upon looking at its extended info I saw something I found disturbing. It shows: X-Geo-Loc: lat=40.170,long=44.500,country="Armenia",city="Yerevan, Yerevan". Is there a place to put in your Location information voluntarily or is it a mandatory thing? I know I wouldn't want the program to show my city and country. Gnutella is unsecure enough when it comes to that (seeing how it shows our IP addresses to everyone, I can see the RIAA loving that when they get there hacking bill). This X-Geo-Loc would just make it easier to track one down.

It is an optional setting.
You shouldn't be afraid of the RIAA. Who cares where they know where you live at? I'm sure they're actually going to go there and can you for sharing files on Gntuella.
Hiding the fact you use Gnutella is bad. It's like saying "As long as I hide, you'll never know I'm doing illegal stuff".
I mean, really. If they wanted to, they could come on these forums and find your logged IP, and trace that to an exact location from the ISP's database. If your on here, your using Gnutella. There is no difference.
