Trying to share files

i've got about 9 gigs of music and videos that i'm trying to share on WinMX, but it seems that none of the uploads are actually going out. i'm behind a linksys router, but i disabled the firewall, set myself as DMZ host, and forwarded the TCP ports as designated in WinMX. only a couple of files actually go out, and they go really slowly at that. less than 1 KB/S, which is odd, because i'm on cable, and i've sent up to 50 KB/S on fservs on irc.

anyone know what can help? thanks in advance.
