What's the story with Kazaa lite lately? It seems any time you do an audio search, a ton of results come on and they are all b.s. - are these files that the Record Labels put on to make it more annoying for Kazaa users to download? I don't remember seeing this months ago. It just seems using Kazaa lately has become alot more annoying.

You really shouldn't use Kazaa for music anymore. Not only are most of the files corrupted, but you stand the best chance of getting sued if you use it for music. I personally like Limewire because of it's built in corruption detection. Soulseek is also a really good network for mp3s and is actually only for them. I would pull away from kazaa though, at least for music.

My friend it was like that a year ago and a bit more you were just lucky and blessed to avoid the garbage until now. As well as most serious p2p'rs going on to greener pastures leaving only the massive amount of fake garbage traded by riaa fanboys

I had the same problem 2 weeks ago when I searched for a song. I had 100-200 different results with 300-400 users each! When I expanded the downloads the sizes looked different. It was like for every download there were 15 different file sizes! Unistalled that version and installed one from klitetools or something like that. Search became ok then but you can't download all the versions of the files just to hear which one is not corrupted to keep.

Instead of getting limewire lite or the basic limewire from the site, get limewire pro, just 'borrow' it off bitorrent.

Is limewire better than Shareaza
limewire though has g2 compatibility, it heavily relies on orignal g1
and shareaza is mulitnetwork client, supporting g1,g2 edonkey, bittorrent....but it has poor g1 connectivity
i use shareaza, i would say its better than limewire, and its opensource now, and u can control shareaza via web (remote access)

I also used to download adobe products off from audiogalaxy. What's your point? Whether you can get them or not, even having them in your share wrecks the network's purpose.

Well I seemed to try everything and the reason I still wanted to use KaZaA lite was because they had the most files. I've tried the other networks you guys have mentioned and I would use them all the time except they hardly ever have the mp3's i'm looking for. I guess they just don't have as many users as Fasttrack, is that why they don'th have as many mp3s available?

Did you try both SoulSeek and LimeWire??? LimeWire delivers anything that is even slightly popular at good speeds and SoulSeek has even the rarest bootlegs. I don't know what you are looking for, but if you don't find it with those two, I have my doubts you can find it anywhere...

Limeiwre is actually good, not as many results as kazaa but they are real. It just takes a while to connect. Ive never really had the time to check limewore pro out but the speeds are ways faster, according to me. With shareaza, i never seem to be able to connect to gnutella network, why? I am behind a router but limeiwre does connect.
