When downloading movies from xolox, the download always stops once 20,992 kb has been transferred.
The status of the transfer states retrying host. This happens regardless of what movie I try downloading.
So why won't the download complete?
Thanks for the help!

I don't like Xolox, stick with Torrentopia. BTW, i dont know why it stops transferring, are you shariung files? Some people may just cancel the upload if they dont see u sharing, but hey, i only used the progg once.

He asks a question about a multi network client and you point him towards one of the second tier bittorrent clients? I am a little lost as to why you would do that.

1scotch1... I think it might have something to do with pieces being sent. If it always stops at the same number, then it might be like emule where you get packests of 9.28 mbs. Perhaps you aren't getting upload credit or something, so the system is treating you as a leecher.

I would email info at xolox.nl and ask them what is happening. Perhaps they know.

That was a strange thing to say mushroomhead.. about the torrentopia thing.. theres no point in leading him there.

Anyway.. as allie said.. your best bet is most likely the people who made it, so try emailing them. They know the code, so they might know what causes it. As far as I can think, the only reason that would be caused is, again as allie said, if your not getting upload credits. Of course, this happens to me in Overnet when I'm downloading really fast and only upping at around 30 KBps.. I suppose I eventually run out of credits and the download just stops for a couple of hours. This might be the problem with your XoloX, but maybe not. Again, try the authors.

Well i mean for these people, they go with crappy slow multisource proggs, just point them in the right direction. Like addicts at a rehab center.

Torrentopia is not better*lol! use shareaza, an mp2p client(piolet/blubster) or ares! if you want a multiprotocol client use www.trustyfiles.com and for torrents give abc a trie
