View Full Version : is Kazaa Lite still available?

I've recently built a new computer, upgraded it from Win98 to XP and changed my cable modem from a USB connection to Ethernet. Somewhere along the way Kazaa Lite stopped working and now just won't connect and I've made too many changes to have any idea what it was that did it. I've tried reinstalling and fiddled endlessly with firewall settings.
So, two questions, is kazaa lite still working and if it is, does anybody have any bright ideas?
thanks

How is he going to get it on the fasttrack network if he needs KazaaLite to connect to it? I say search the forums, there are links to klr, klitetools, and other versions all over. Try the kazaa section of the forums, you should see tons of results.
Edit: This one is my favorite http://www.klitetools.com/MM/klt.html

Thanks people. So, does anyone have any suggestions why I can't get my installation of K++ to connect anymore? I've tried various changes to my Zone Alarm settings and using various different port settings. Still doesn't want to connect.
I'd welcome any words of wisdom on the subject.
cheers

He spams forums with it all across the net on any thread having anything to do with Kazaa. He's already been warned about it here which is probably why he is using a new account.
Never trust anyone who has something like this on his website's front page, It probably dials a pay-per-call number in sri lanka.

I had the exact same problem of never connecting with 2.4.5 and I use Zone Alarm. I uninstalled 2.4.5 and made sure all versions of K++ were completely removed as reported by Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. BTW I am using Windows ME. When I re-installed 2.4.5 it connected immediately.
