I will always respect Azureus but after i met torrentopia i start to think...torrentopia's downloads start faster, by far faster than azureus, which usually has delays of say 5-10minutes before downloading. Torrentopia even has a neat search function which is pretty impressive although the gui is ... crap. At the end of the day, which one is better and why? Which should i choose?

i think mostly people will suggest azureus, but i dont like it as its a resource hog, and i have just 256ram
but i am voting for torrentopia, as it lets u search suprvova, isohunt etc
though the client that i mostly use is ABC

Azureus is hands down the best bittorrent client available. As far as being a resource hog I think that just depends on your set up and the version of java that you have because I have tried quite a few torrent clients and Azureus actually used the least amount of resources. It's updated and worked on, on a daily basis with usually several CVS builds each day.

Despite the fact that I get consistently faster startup and DL speeds with shad0w's BT, I tend to use Azureus for the simple fact that I can queue things up and just let it go.

That's right! Azureus it is... and the latest version on a good PC... if you're on an old one, well then what the hell, upgrade - having a fast PC is the only way to go. I haven't tried TorrenTopia and I'm not about to - Azureus is simply too good.
And for the one who said it take 5-10 minutes to start downloading... well, maybe on your connection, buddy, cause on mine, all it takes is 20 seconds and Azureus is hard at work downloading those torrents...

Torrentopia Is the one I just started using. For me it is much easier to use .Doesn't freeze or anything. So far so good. I have never really used this type of P2P before that much. I tried and failed so to speak. This one does what the others don't seem to. It connect's right away which is great.
