Ugh!!!!! I just downloaded and installed WinMX 3.53 and everytime I try and run it to crashes. It installs, but then when it's supposed to go through set-up it crashes and I'm forced to close it. I've tried clean installing it twice already but to no avail. What gives?

There may be some bugs left yet still in v3.53. Might want to try reverting back to v3.31 (http://www.filemirrors.com/search.src?type=contains&file=winmx331) if you've had better success. They really should leave previous versions of WinMX on their site for people who like to stick with the older versions.

I have the previous version. If you cannot find it, and want it, send me a personal message.

i wont laugh if you wont. Im running 512 of ram, and an old 950 celleron, and xp . going by the amount of ram you have could you possibly shut down some processes during the install? Also if you havnt used it here is a nice site to learn what you can shut down, possibly freeing up some resources, which might be the problem. http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/servicecfg.htm
