best free antiviruses are the pirate copies of norton and mcafee that I pulled off fasttrack. this is, afterall, zeropaid.

Actually the best Norton you can get is Corperate edition, it gives you upgrades for life.

For sure norton corporate is the best.

I gave up on the freeware stuff awhile back :-)

if you want norton corporate, go to http://sharereactor.com and look for it in their files section.
you need edonkey to get it, but because it is a hashlink you will get a clean copy.

go for it wesr! :-)

According to your AV program... LOL

Seriously though, I have tried Norton, AVG, Panda and McAfee and they all slow the system down to a crawl. Especially when right clicking on items in Explorer, the menu seems to take forever to come up so I can copy or paste. Once I disable the AV, it speeds up again.

What happened to the ones that never upset the system?

Yeah I also recommend pandas online virus scan!
It is very good but a bit slow, but it is great when you need to scan right away and it is one of the best. They update daily, so you are getting best results.
