What's up guys. Recently I have been using Ares to download and share my music files, and it has been working great. The only problem is that they don't have the amount of users needed and there is a limited number of songs. I've heard good things about Piolet and I was curious to see if anyone here has tried it already. First of all, does it have any spyware/adware. Also, does it have a decent amount of users and songs, and are there many fakes/viruses/corrupted songs.

Thanks :green6

Piolet/Blubster does have ad-ware, but you can opt out of everything else if there is any. I used it a while ago but not lately.

But if your looking for users, according to slyck, Ares (Warez) has 406,455 users, and MP2P (piolet) has 241,328. But of course - Mp2p is music only, as Ares allows anyone to share whatever they want.

I haven't seen many fakes or corrupted songs, but as I said I havent used it in a while. And keep in mind Mp2p has shown up in some of the recent lawsuits by the RIAA lately. Keep that in mind if your in the US, but either way, its totally up to you.

Good luck, and if no one has told you yet, welcome to ZeroPaid.

Although I haven't used the most recient versions, Blubster had a lot more spyware it installed then Piolet - Piolet just had one ad banner in the program.

There is a clean version of Blubster (they're both on the same network, and pretty much look the same), but it's not the most recient version.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll just stick with Ares seeing that it actually has more users than i thought.
