I got bored and started surfing around to sites... Then I ended up somehow on Shareaza.com and it reminded me that it was open source now. I thought what the hell, might as well go to sourceforge and see if anyone is going to be working on their own version.

I found this:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/shareazax/

I realize it's early, but hey it somehow gives a little hope to you mac users. :)

What? Shareaza uses MFC heavily for GUI and the asyncsockets, so it's not even portable code, yet SF says "Shareaza Mac OS X Port and Development Open Source Project", wonder what they are going to do, if you rewrite it all in berkley sockets, which is what needs to be done, then it's no longer a shareaza, it's totally different...

If they get it working on MacOSX, then i may ported to Linux and others too ...

They may totally rebuild it by using the code as a referance as to how you would need to code it in a differn't language. Even if the code is totally differnt they could still use the shareaza name as thats what their gonna try and copy just with differnt code on mac os. Look the same work the same etc...
