Has anyone here tried AllofMP3.com yet? It looks pretty promising but I would feel more comfortable hearing from someone who has tried it. It almost seems to good to be true. Is it easy to use?

If you are using PayPal, I say go for it. I read several post from people who said they like it and you can get albums for less then a dollar.

its better then searching for a torrent that may no longer be in service or broken tracker on it. I love the site and highly recommend it. Paying for music isnt bad as janett makes it sound. God forbid someone should make money for a service they provide. Such as Encoding it the way you want, nameing the files correctly, having a secure download with no virus.. and NO, I REPEAT, NO ADS ON THE SITE like torrent sites. Its painless and easy to do. I have uploaded many albums to share and got credit for twice the amount. I upload 15 meg of a song, which ten songs on album. 150 megs. I get 300 megs of credit. Now i download at 192 alternate byte rate in lame at about 70 megs.. thats at least four albums i get for one upload. 10 dollars for a gig is really good. I love janett and wont jump on her. But she mentions about UPdating your virus protection, Protecting yourself from sharing files and the riaa.. and about adware. yet this site has none of those things and she cant recommend it. And no you dont have to pay, go look through your cd collection regardless if its a CD SINGLe.. if the site doesnt have it. Upload it with their uploader. You can download a cd ripper to rip to a WAV file. Then the uploader will compress the whole folder to 384kbs mp3, or FLAwless audio compression and then it uploads. Its the best way to share files. You share your cd to one site, and it may be downloaded a 100 times. And the files spread quickly and no riaa scanning your shared files.

I love Allofmp3.com! I use it for all my full albums that I want to purchase. My $10 has lasted me forever there! Okay, well it's lasted me about 4 or 5 months! I would go for the site and give it a try, I know I loved it right away! There has only been one person that I could not find, and that is probably because he is new to the music world. But in time, I'm sure his CD will show up on there.

Come on people... The guy is asking about AllOfMP3.com, not whether you think paying 5 cents for an MP3 is right or not. The RIAA and the entire music industry might be led by a a bunch of a$$holes, but come on, do you honestly think that music SHOULD be free, as in 0 cents? There has to be a time when buying music seems like a fair deal to the consumer too, and if paying a dollar for an album isn't fair for you guys, well, then maybe, just maybe, you're proving the RIAA RIGHT. And that would be sick, because for the most part, they're wrong.

I like it. I don't mind having to pay < $1 for an album - I'm assured of the quality and it's easy to get.

While some people may not think that $18.00 (US) is a fair price, they may be willing to pay a couple dollars an album. If they like the music there is nothing wrong with paying a little money as long as they are not being raped (with a wrought iron pole and 15 feet of chain linked fence in the case of the RIAA) with the pricing.
