Can someone address the issue of dummy mp3's? I have attempted to download James Taylor's Album October Road and when you preview the downloads they are all the same song. This also happened with the Dixie Chicks new album. Is there a solution?? The file sizes are different, titles different, all appears to be normal but the song remains the same. Is it possible a virus is causing this. I chatted with some other Kazaa users who were experiencing the same problems. Help please!!

Look for the song again, but also look for different file sizes,
I had a similar problem getting Disturbed new single Prayer.
It will take some Patience.

Does your Dummy files contain an ALBW extension within the file name? If so you need to download Album Wrap extractor, which will open up all songs within the album!

May be it's done by the record company's, who are spreading thousands of fake files over p2p networks :(

some times having the verified file size is not enough coz the fake file makers loop the bits of the song and make it the exact same length
as the good rip......grgrgr
there are a few ppl that have made a file verifiction for the fast track network called sig2dat it checks the hash of a previously verified file(geeks only) (:
or ..
some still start a download and then stop it after a miniute or so has downloaded
rename the .dat to.mp3 and listen to it in an mp3 player to check that it is the right file....
but this dont always work either ,for the same reason as above..
IM0 file verification tools should be incorporated into new p2papps
even new releses....
