i liked their stuff. Was it for the michael jackson tribute for black or white song? I Saw that performance. I believe if he and duffy went to axl. Their album wouldnt be delayed so much. I love to hear new music from them as a band rather then a singer with little hellions with KFC buckets on their heads.

Dude, don't even compare STP to POM. I realize Scott Weiland is an out-of-control druggie, but don't bring him down further by associating him with that juvenile talent.
Edit: side note, Do you know? Slash worked with Micheal Jackson. What song did Slash play on?
True to form, it was another five years before Jackson released his next album, 1992's Dangerous. For this release, Jackson decided on Guns n' Roses guitarist Slash (a move that left a lot of GNR fans scratching their heads). You can hear Slash wailing on "Black or White" and "Give it to Me".
I happen to like them. hell its fine that you think they suck thats the beauty of it, you choose what you like and We choose what we like. And in the end, things will always be that way.
Um btw WHo do you like ? Instead of saying what you hate who do you like?

cj, not everything requires a thesis from you just because you don't care for the look of a response in your all-important thread. Based on my first quote, POM sucks ass. I like STP, hence my comment. This does not need a rebuttal. Enjoy your pizza.

Don't dis the KFC. Are you even aware of who this is? Have you heard any of Buckethead's albums? This guitarist gives Slash a run for his money. Matter of fact, he's probably even better than Slash. Pick up (or aquire however) a copy of Monsters and Robots to hear some great guitarwork.
that song "It's Tricky". I dont know who sings it.. VErY awesome none the less!
My best guess would be Run-DMC. You're right though. A very cool song.

Yeah, but puddle of mudd cannot be compared to STP. STP is one of the great modern rock bands. They are in their own catagory IMHO.
I like how the "cool thing" these days is Johnny Cash covers. Gotta love that. He's the "Man IN Black". Who better to cover?
I want to see some hard rock/alternative Elvis covers. Way toooo cooool.

zpman is waiting for new 311. Any other 311 fans in here? I have been a fan of theirs for years and years and years...
I feel old to some of their fans, but hey. I've probably seen them live more times than most of their fans. They need to come around more often because my wallet is smaller now.
Funny isn't it? How, when you get older, the good things get smaller, and the bad things get bigger. I suppose it just means I also have to work harder.

He is an underground MC. You probably won't catch him on MTV, although I have seen one video on MTV2, before it totally sucked. Kinda hardcore hiphopish. Very lyrical and poetic. Good stuff, on Def Jux. One of the best white MCs out these days. Yeah there are some. Even some better than Eminem imho. Eminem's 1st two albums were pretty good, but then went sharply downhill after that. Seems like more Eminem Produstion, less Dr. Dre. You can really tell the difference, I feel.
Anyway, Aesop Rock is not hard to find in P2P. Much of his stuff, I have gotten for free from promotions.

Currently I like Span. First heard one of their songs, stay as you are on the nissan xtera commercial. Looked it up and found out the band was europe only release. Got their cd and they really are one of the best bands ive heard in a long time. They seem to take old school rock to the modern age.
